You’re Invited to Feeding Umpqua’s 4th Annual Empty Bowls Pickup Party!
Like so many things, this year’s Empty Bowls event will look a little different. There will be no in-person soiree where neighbors gather to taste a variety of soups at our warehouse. Instead, people will have the opportunity to choose their own bowl, pick up a gift basket, and enjoy a meal together in their homes.
Each ticket holder will get to pick out a handmade/painted bowl and receive a branded tote bag loaded with goodies—dry soup mix, loaf of fresh-made bread and a dessert from Lighthouse Center Bakery and Café, a gift certificate for a bowl of soup from a partner restaurant, a bottle of Umpqua Valley wine, and a door prize ticket! All for just $35!
The pick-up party will take place on Monday, October 11th in the regional food center parking lot from 5:30-7:30 pm. Ticket holders can stop by anytime during that window to choose a bowl and grab their tote bag. Otherwise, a pre-assembled gift basket can be picked up at the food bank starting on the October 13th.
