UCAN Resident Services: Rent Well Session

Rent Well is a 15-hour tenant education program where you will learn to:
- Identify potential screening barriers
- Understand how and why a landlord will screen you
- Review important personal records such as credit, civil, and criminal reports
- Create an individualized plan for stable housing
- Build a household budget
- Review rental agreements to understand common terms and expectations
- Understand the landlords’ perspective
- Understand Fair Housing Laws and Tennant-Landlord Laws
- Move-in and move-out of rental units in a professional manner
- Understand the eviction process and how to avoid it
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy home
ONLINE session starts Thursday 8/26/2021
When: Sessions are EVERY THURSDAY, 8/26-9/30, (Must attend every session: 8/26, 9/2, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30)
Location: Online ONLY (Zoom videoconferencing platform)
Time: 5:30-8pm, Thursdays
There is no cost to attend this Rent Well Session.
