Introduction to Thrive Umpqua’s Worksite DEI Program

This presentation will be an info session and introduction to The Worksite DEI Program that Thrive Umpqua offers to local organizations. Participants will be able to learn more about what this program has to offer, ask any questions they might have, and plan for next steps in pursuing this training.

Thrive Umpqua partnered with the Vernā Myers Company, Praxis Group, and local Dei experts to develop The Worksite DEI Program. This program is several training sessions that address workplace cultural biases, prejudices, favoritism, discrimination, and harassment. In the 2-3 month period, participants will receive 6 hours of training for leadership, 4.5 hours of training for staff, and self-learning modules to make organizational-wide change. After the training, participants will be offered follow-up resources, monthly activities, speakers, or small groups to further explore topics that will come out of the training.
